Our Mission:

For many years this ministry has helped the communities of San Vicente and San Rafael, Baja, CA, Mexico with housing, church development, food, medical expenses, education, clothing, and transportation.  Over 60 groups have participated in mission trips to these communities.  Pray for the development of relationships between folks traveling to Mexico and those who live there.  Pray for spiritual growth for all.  Pray for the new Board of Directors as it leads DPRF.

REPORT FROM TRIP #60

DOS PUEBLOS RELIEF FUND HAS RETURNED FROM THEIR 60TH TRIP TO BAJA, CA. MEXICO. READ BELOW TO GET CAUGHT UP.

Enjoy some photos from our 60th trip to

Baja California Mexico

Randy Guzik, Sandra Kunes, and Tami Lawler lead the way for Trip #60 participants Jayne and Audrey Abbe, Grant, Nathan, and Mark Lawler, Kamila Kunes and Ethan Hutchin.  The projects accomplished during this mission trip included:

  • Assembling food bags for the Wednesday evening worship service attendees.  Flour, milk, sugar, oil, eggs, beans, and rice were weighed and bagged.  The service was standing room only!  Pastor Enrique shared the gospel with Sandra interpreting.  After the service, the bags were distributed to the people as Pastors Enrique and Gonzala greeted each person.
  • Work was continued on the office that Kiki will use when he returns to work in San Vicente.  (due to the heat, some of the outdoor projects were postponed)
  • The 2 day Vacation Bible Study program largely run by the youth of the group took place with over 30 children in attendance.  The program included a snack, singing and movement activities, a Bible lesson with a skit, crafts, face painting, and playing at the park.  Handouts in Spanish and supplies were donated by the CPC VBS program and the children attending so the children in Benito Juarez could have their own crayons, supplies, and handouts.  It was an amazing experience for all involved as our youth helped bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the youth in Benito Juarez.  "this is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.  This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:23-24

Needed for Trip #61:  Housing/Church Projects $1520, Education $872, Transportation $2362, Food $1800, Medical $760.  Total amount for Trip #61 is $7314 - $4659 (current balance) = $2655 needed for Trip #61.  If you are able to help, please make your check out to CPC and write in the memo, For “Dos Pueblos”.  (Place in the offering plate, use the enclosed envelope, or send it by mail to:  CPC, 1555 Poli Street, Ventura, CA 93001).  Thank you always, for your support and prayers!
