About Us

Our Motivation :: Our Purpose :: Our Philosophy :: Our Program
As an outreach ministry of CPC, the preschool seeks to reach preschoolers and their families with the message that Jesus loves them. We accomplish this by providing a loving, nurturing environment using developmentally appropriate practices to develop the spiritual, cognitive, emotional, social and physical aspects of the children entrusted to our care. Furthermore, we extend a hand of friendship to the preschool families, encouraging and supporting them through life's challenges and joys. We show them the love of Jesus through our compassion and practical help, all to the glory of God.
Our Motivation
“Let the children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
- Mark 10:14 -
Our Purpose
As a ministry of Community
Presbyterian Church, our purpose is to nurture young children in the
love of Jesus Christ and to be a source of support and encouragement
for their parents.
Our Philosophy
We believe that each child is a
unique person of great worth, created by God and entrusted to us by
parents to teach and love. Our approach to education is one that is
concerned with the growth and development of the whole child:
physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual. We strive to
provide an environment that is safe, loving, accepting and rich in
opportunities for learning and growth through age appropriate, hands-on
activities. We recognize that self-esteem is rooted in the knowledge
of God’s love and care. Therefore, we endeavor to help children:
develop respectful relationships with others and appreciate
differences; develop a love of learning and an appreciation of God’s
creation and love.
Our Program
Our half-day, state licensed
program is a Member of the Association of Christian Schools
International and of NAEYC. Children of all races, nationalities and
faiths are eligible for enrollment and scholarships. Classes are kept
small to ensure a quality experience. We encourage parent involvement
and provide opportunities for parent education.
