Together in Community
(First and Second Corinthians)

The true Christian community is distinct from every other type of human interaction. Our participation in this distinct form of community in the Light of God’s Word will inform our understanding as to our responsibilities and develop a realistic expectation of the benefits and blessings of belonging.

The Apostle Paul clearly defines the challenging criteria for this course in 1 Corinthians 1:10: “Now I plead with you brethren by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment.”

You are invited to glean truth from the words of God to the Church at Corinth that will empower each of us to live out "the Way" in our own individual lives with one another in fellowship, and the alternate communities we subsquently affect.
