We have many wonderful opportunities to join in community and grow together! Check this page for ongoing and upcoming events, Bible studies, and more!
Groups are intended to build community (fun, hospitality, shared meals), deepen discipleship (Bible study, Book study, prayer, meditation), and look outwards (discussion, mission, welcome). These groups create spaces to build friendships and have fun together, and go deeper in our faith and knowledge of God. We share in life, and grow together.
We have new Seasonal Studies beginning September 20 and running through the week if November 8. We also have many Open and Ongoing groups that run throughout the year, and welcome new members at any time!
Motherhood with little ones is beautiful, exhausting, messy - and it’s not meant to be walked alone. This group is a space for moms of infants through preschoolers to come as they are, share honestly, and be encouraged. Build relationships with other moms of littles, as well as mothers and grandmothers who have walked through many seasons of motherhood. Join us to share a meal, build lasting relationships, and discover how God is meeting you in this season.

Small Group Interest Survey:
Are you looking to experience deeper community and pay closer attention to how God is working in your life? We are gathering interest in forming life groups of 3–5 people committed to a six-month journey of intentional spiritual growth, meeting once or twice a month for reflection, prayer, and shared practices. These flexible, question-guided gatherings will be designed to help you explore Christian discipleship in a concrete way alongside a few others, learning and growing in relationship. If you are ready to pursue what God is growing in you, please let us know your preferences by filling out our brief interest form.

If you are newer to our community, we invite you to a short, informal coffee time with Pastor Jeff. We’ll share a bit about who we are and what we believe at CPC. Join us for 20 minutes in the Fireside Room at 10am, in between services. No need to RSVP.

Are you interested in baptizing your infant or child into our church family? We invite you to attend our upcoming informational class on November 15th after the 10:30 service, in the Carpenter Shop. We are kicking off a Season of Giving with opportunities to bless children here in Ventura and around the world.
Operation Christmas Child provides children across the globe with a shoebox filled with gifts, supplies and the Gospel message. Boxes are available in our sanctuary lobby and patio, along with information on how to pack a box. Join the OCC team this Saturday, Oct 24 from 9am-12pm for their Action Day (Carpenter Shop). On November 14 we will host a church and community wide packing party on our campus! Join us anytime from 1-4pm. Please drop off your filled boxes by Sunday, Nov 15.
The Ventura Community Christmas Shoppe serves under resourced families by providing new toys at no cost to them. We’ll be collecting new toys until Dec 9. Please drop off new, unwrapped toys for ages 0-17 in the Christmas Shoppe boxes in both our sanctuary and Fellowship Hall lobbies. The one day Shoppe event will take place December 12 at Orchard Community Church. Sign up at the clipboard in the lobby if you’re interested in helping serve the day of.
