Spring Gather Groups are here!
Gather Groups are intended to build community (fun, hospitality, shared meals), deepen discipleship (Bible study, Book study, prayer, meditation), and look outwards (discussion, mission, welcome). These groups create spaces to build friendships and have fun together, and go deeper in our faith and knowledge of God. We share in life, and grow together.
Sunday, May 4 | 6pm
Everyone is Invited to the CPC Talent Show on Sunday, May 4 at 6pm! Join us for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate the many talents and skills of our church family, while helping support our kids & students go to summer camp. Whether you’re performing or just coming to enjoy the show, it’s sure to be a fun night filled with talent, laughter, and dessert!
Do you sing, dance, act, play an instrument, or have a unique skill to showcase? We want to see it! Are you an artist or baker? Donate an original artwork or a dessert for our Art & Dessert Auction to help our camp scholarship fund! Sign up at cpcventura.org/events or on the clipboards in the lobby.
During the month of May we will be collecting diapers for our local mission partner, the Ventura County Pregnancy Center. VCPC “is a Christ-centered organization that encourages women and men to choose life for their unborn child by providing them with resources and practical assistance before, during, and after pregnancy.” Please bring diapers - size newborn to 6 - to the box in the lobby on Sunday mornings, or drop off in the office during the week (M-Th, 9-12pm). They are currently most in need of larger sizes. Let’s help love some of the youngest in our local community!
Save the Date! On Sunday, June 1, we will celebrate our graduates and promoting students! Gather for worship at a 10am single service, and join afterwards for a pancake breakfast on the patio and time honoring our students.
Ladies! A time and space to connect in conversation with other women. This is an open group - all are welcome! (Purchase and drinking of alcohol is not necessary.)

Pint & Ponder gathers on the second Monday of each month, 7pm at MadeWest Brewing (1744 Donlon St, Ventura, CA 93003).
A social gathering of guys centered around a discussion of living out faith in real life. Join for thoughtful conversation and time to hang out together. (Purchasing & drinking alcohol is not necessary.) Join us at 6:30pm to hang out, and discussion begins at 7:15pm. Contact James for more info.
