Help Make Friendsgiving Special!
Would you like to bless our middle school, high school, and young adult groups this November? We’re looking for people to help provide side dishes, rolls, or sparkling cider for our upcoming Friendsgivings!
Non-perishable items (like sparkling cider, canned cranberries, or boxed stuffing) can be dropped off on Sundays or during office hours.
Warm dishes can be brought to the church or the Clabaugh’s home (4015 Madison St.) between 3:00–6:30 PM on the day you sign up—or earlier if they’re in a crockpot!
Friendsgiving Dates:
Middle School: Wednesday, November 19 | 6–8 PM
High School: Thursday, November 20 | 6–8 PM
Young Adults: Sunday, November 23 | 6–8 PM
Your home-cooked touch (or store-bought kindness!) helps make these gatherings feel like family. Thank you for being part of creating a welcoming table for our students and young adults!
OCC & Christmas Shoppe Launch
We are kicking off a season of Christmas gifting! This year we will have opportunities to bless children in both Ventura and around the world.
The Ventura Community Christmas Shoppe serves under resourced families by providing new toys at no cost to them. We’ll be collecting new toys until Dec 10 in both our sanctuary and Fellowship Hall lobbies. Information will also be available on types of gifts and other ways to be involved. The one day Shoppe event will take place December 13 at Orchard Community Church.
Operation Christmas Child provides children around the world with a shoebox filled with gifts, supplies and the Gospel message. Boxes are available in our sanctuary lobby and patio, along with information on how to pack a box. On November 15 we will host a church and community wide packing party on our patio! Join us anytime from 1-3pm. You can also drop off your filled boxes on Sundays or during the week at the office from 11/16-11/23. Click HERE to find out more!
Fall Gather Groups are here! Gather Groups are intended to build community, deepen discipleship, and look outwards. These intentional small groups create spaces to build friendships and have fun together, and go deeper in our faith and knowledge of God. We share in life, and grow together. Groups will run from September 21 - November 14.

Are you looking for ways to become more connected in community, or curious about pursuing membership at CPC? Led by Pastor Dianna & Pastor Bruce, The Next Steps will help provide a guide to going deeper. Join us for 20 minutes in the Fireside Room immediately following each service.
