Dive deeper into community and discipleship by joining a Gather Group! These groups create spaces to build friendships, have fun together, and go deeper in our faith and knowledge of God. Fall Gather Groups run for 8 weeks, beginning September 1.
9/22 || Dos Pueblos Sunday
Pastor Enrique Morales, our mission partner in Baja California, Mexico, will preach this Sunday. Join us at 5:30pm in the Fellowship for a potluck dinner and time to hear about their mission work.
9/25, Wednesday, 6:30pm || Everyone’s Invited! Brown Bag Bingo
Come join us for an evening on the patio filled with laughter! We ask each person to bring a light-hearted prize, like a white elephant gift (something unique or amusing), a treat, or a gift card (under $10), wrapped in a brown paper bag as your entry fee. Drinks, snacks, bingo cards, and dobbers will be provided by us! Kindly RSVP by September 19. Childcare available for children younger than 1st grade.
10/5 || LOVE Ventura
Our church family is partnering with LOVE Ventura and the wider Ventura community to serve in different projects around the city on Saturday, October 5! This is a great opportunity to love our neighbors and community, and serve alongside each other. We’re encouraging sign ups for two projects being led by CPC members:

10/12, Saturday, 9am-3pm || The After Party
Are you longing for a better way in Christian political engagement? We are partnering with “The After Party” to help us grow and reframe our political identity as followers of Jesus. Jesus’ call is clear: We are to be salt and light in this world. Come be equipped and encouraged as we prepare together in this call. Join us Saturday, October 12, 9am-3pm. We are accepting cash donations of $10 at the door to help cover the cost of this event. Thank you! (Please RSVP by Tuesday, 10/8 if you need childcare).

11/16 || Operation Christmas Child Packing Party
Pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child at our annual packing party! Help put together boxes with pre-made and pre-purchased gifts to send to children around the world.
11/17, Sunday, 11:45am || Leadership Training (rescheduled from 9/8)
All are invited to come and grow in leadership! Join us after the 10:30 service for a time of leadership training, designed to equip, support, and develop all leaders at CPC. Whether you are currently leading, or interested in leadership, all are welcome. 11:45am - 1:15pm in the Fellowship Hall.
