The Session (board of elders) is the council for the congregation and has responsibility and authority for governing the congregation and guiding its mission for Christ in the world. The Session exercises oversight of all programs and finances of the church and congregation; trains, examines, ordains and installs elders and deacons; and direct the ministry of deacons, and all other organizations of the congregation.

The office of deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of sympathy, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ. It is the duty of deacons, first of all, to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless and to any who may be in distress both within and beyond the community of faith.
Please see the Deacon’s Guide below for a list of ministries and contacts.
