Ted & Claudia Limpic have served for many decades training and supporting Brazilian missionaries who live out the love of Jesus amongst Muslim people primarily in North Africa and the Middle East. These missionaries have a unique ability to communicate the Gospel among Muslim people of Arabic and African heritage. Their mission work is sensitive and so we are careful to not indicate exactly where they might be at any given time or exactly where the missionaries they care for are serving.

Here's the latest from our friends, Samuel and Julia, as they are working to help scores of Afghan refugees to find a new life, hopefully soon in Brazil. They've been there less than a week, but the news is really encouraging.

1. They met today again with the Brz embassy people in the capital who have been super cooperative and doing all they can to help. Plans continue to move forward quickly in assisting the growing number of Afghan refugees who have fled to P-stan.

2. The challenge to put together complete, accurate lists is huge. And it's getting more challenging, because what was originally five families grew to nine. Now there are 43 large families, more than 400 people! And they all need Samuel and Julia to translate for them as they do interviews with the Brz embassy staff, register documents, and complete important paperwork.

3. In Brazil the construction of chalets to house the new refugees is progressing. Lots of human and financial resources in Brazil are being directed toward this urgent project.

So there is a lot to be thankful for. Yet, as the number of refugee families grows, please join us in praying ...

     > For Samuel and Julia: For energy, focus and good health. The intense humidity is taking a toll on them.

     > For the staff at the Brz embassy: to be able to quickly do the necessary interviews and complete documents

     > For the construction in Brazil: for good progress on the new chalets
