OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
The Amazing Journey of a Shoebox Gift Begins with you and results in evangelism, discipleship, and multiplication.
You can get involved right here at CPC Ventura! Every shoebox gift is an opportunity to reach a child with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Along with each shoebox gift the children hear a Gospel presentation and receive a booklet in their language The Greatest Gift, a Gospel story booklet Samaritan’s Purse developed for shoebox recipients, and the children are invited to participate in The Greatest Journey discipleship program.
In the hands of local churches, every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship—transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Boxes are available in our sanctuary lobby and patio, along with information on how to pack a box. Drop off your filled boxes on Sundays or during the week at the office from 11/16-11/23.
Join us for our 2025 Packing Party: Saturday, November 15!
Drop in Saturday, 11/15 between 1pm - 3pm as we pack gift boxes for children all over the world. These boxes are delivered by local partners, showing God’s love and allowing opportunity to present the gospel in a clear, kid-friendly way.

How can you get involved?
Financially:
Your donations are critical for Operation Christmas Child shoebox collecting, processing, and shipping, as well as ministry partner training and Gospel materials. Make your checks payable to CPC with Operation Christmas Child in the memo line to help us cover the Shipping and Evangelism expenses for our packing party shoeboxes.

Prayer:
From the very beginning of your preparations, be sure to pray for the children who will receive your shoebox gifts. Ask God to prepare their hearts to receive His love and to specifically guide you as you shop and pack to put just what each child needs in their shoebox. Then before you send them off, pray over them again asking the Lord Jesus Christ to draw each recipient to Himself.
