Baker’s Needed! | Wednesday, August 12

If you are a baker, we’d love your help in blessing our educators as they head back to the classroom to begin a new school year. To help care for them on the first day of school, we will be dropping off a home cooked meal on August 12. We are in need of homemade sourdough loaves, and homemade desserts (please no nuts.) Annual Meeting | Sunday, August 30, 10am

Save the date for our Annual Meeting on August 30 (our last single service of the summer). We will worship together at 10am, and then begin our Annual Meeting. We will vote on the Nominating Committee and Deacons, and reflect with gratitude on a year of ministry and life as a church family! 

Albania Visit | Sunday, August 16

Next Sunday, Aug 16, our Albania Partners will be with us! Pastor Zefjan Nikolla, his wife Edita and the Selmani Family will be in Ventura August 10-17. We will have the privilege of Zef preaching and Dr Edvin Selmani sharing his testimony. CPC has long been in partnership with Zef and the church he pastors, Emanuel Reformed in Tirana, Albania, as well as the university ministry (BSKSH) he directs. Zef is an ordained ECO pastor and part of our Mission presbytery.

Marsh and Jim Peters are hosting a dessert gathering for the Nikollas and Selmanis that evening, Aug 16 at 6pm. The whole church is invited! Please rsvp at cpcventura.org/events.
