$100 to reserve your spot and secure the early bird rate!

We understand camp prices can be high, so we are holding a fundraiser in May to help with the costs of camp. Make sure you sign up with the early bird price and sign up to participate in the fundraiser so we can help reduce the cost of camp!
Please also remember that there are always scholarships available!
(We are grateful for CPC’s investment in student ministries and desire to see students learning about God’s incredible love and grace in a special setting such as retreat. On the registration form, please select “Scholarship Request” under the Camp Rates section. Josiah will reach out so we can ensure your student goes to camp!)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Campus by the Sea?
Campus by the Sea is a Christian camp located on Catalina Island. They host youth, young adult, and family camps throughout the year. If you’d like more information on them visit their website! https://www.campusbythesea.org/
What do I need to bring?
Here is a packing list that CBS has provided, along with other important information on their policies. Please read this over as you prepare for camp!
What leaders will be there?
Josiah will absolutely be there along with some of our other middle school leaders who regularly attend our Wednesday night gatherings. Due to work schedules, we are still figuring out exactly who will be there. All of our leaders have cleared DOJ & FBI background checks, personal recommendations, and interviews. All regularly interact with our students and receive training to do so. They are trusted and fun individuals who are already pouring into many of our students and are excited to get to know you while we learn about God together!
How will students get to and from Retreat?
On the registration form, we have asked parents if they’d be willing to drive students to or from the harbor we will leave to Catalina from. The San Pedro Harbor is around 2 hours from Ventura, and carpooling this way reduces the cost of retreat by not having to rent vans or buses.
What is included with the price?
The price covers Campus by the Sea’s program which has meals and snacks for the four days, ferry cost, cabins, speakers, worship, and water equipment and activities! (If you are not able to drive students, there may be an additional fee for a rental vehicle.)
What will we be doing? Are we just reading the bible all day?
We will be doing lots of things! For activities we will be hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, playing volleyball, and much more! We will also be worshiping and learning from the camp’s worship leaders and speaker. There is a list of activities on the same document as the packing list above.
Is Financial assistance available?
Absolutely! We are grateful for CPC’s investment in student ministries and desire to see students learning about God’s incredible love and grace in a special setting such as retreat. On the registration form, please select “Scholarship Request” under the Camp Rates section. Josiah or Tami will reach out so we can ensure your student (or student’s friend) goes to camp!
Can I invite a friend?
Please do! Bring a friend along with you and share the registration link with them. They can also receive financial assistance if they need it!
